Touro University’s hybrid Physician Assistant (PA) program redefines the experience of being a PA student. You don’t have to uproot your life to earn a Master of Physician Assistant Studies and get a top-quality education. Even before your clinical year begins, you’ll apply your skills to your local community in CEED (Clinical Experience in Early Didactic). These local clinical experiences are designed to practice newly acquired skills to build your confidence and help you see the real-world results of your work. Hands-on training happens in person, but not all at once. Instead of relocating for a sustained period, you’ll attend five three-to-five-day immersions spread across the 32-month hybrid physician assistant program. You’ll focus on critical hands-on skills in short bursts that respect your life, family, and responsibilities.

Meet Faculty & Staff
No. The program is designed so you can remain in your home community. Immersion sessions are typically 3-5 days in length and Touro works to secure clinical placements near your location whenever possible.
You’ll participate in live Zoom sessions, small-group case-based learning, and online discussions. Faculty host office hours and one-on-one advising, and you'll join a close-knit cohort at the immersion experience.
From tutoring and advising to tech support, wellness resources, and career coaching, hybrid students have access to the same resources as on-campus learners—delivered in a format built for flexibility.
