About the Degree

Our Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MSPAS) degree program prepares you to make an impact through nearby clinical rotations and a rigorous curriculum of engaging hybrid learning. You’ll graduate ready to become a confident, skilled PA working alongside physicians to solve complex healthcare challenges in private practices, hospitals, and clinical settings.

Hybrid PA Format

The 32-month, 124-credit hybrid PA program follows an innovative format consisting of 16 months of online coursework with five brief in-person immersions, 12 months of local clinical rotations, and a four-month culminating semester.

Location

Touro University's Montana physician assistant program offers hands-on training immersions at the Touro Montana training facility. You'll be able to take classes at home and clinical rotations close to home, and come to our Montana campus for clinical immersions.

Accreditation

Touro University Hybrid PA Program - Montana has applied for Accreditation - Provisional from the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA). Touro University Hybrid PA Program - Montana anticipates matriculating its first class in September 2027, pending achieving Accreditation - Provisional status at the April 2027 ARC-PA meeting. Accreditation - Provisional is an accreditation status granted when the plans and resource allocation, if fully implemented as planned, of a proposed program that has not yet enrolled students appear to demonstrate the program’s ability to meet the ARC-PA Standards or when a program holding accreditation-provisional status appears to demonstrate continued progress in complying with the Standards as it prepares for the graduation of the first class (cohort) of students.
