Touro University Montana is committed to developing innovative partnerships that make nursing education more accessible while strengthening Montana’s healthcare workforce. Through our Partnering in Education. Investing in Excellence. initiative, Touro University Montana brings nursing education and healthcare practice together around a common goal: helping students successfully progress from nursing student to professional registered nurse.
This program is designed to create a stronger connection between nursing education and clinical practice, providing eligible Touro University Montana nursing students with financial support during their education and opportunities to build meaningful connections with their potential future employers. By investing in students while they are completing their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), this partnership seeks to reduce financial barriers that can make completing a nursing degree more difficult. At the same time, it represents a shared investment in developing a highly prepared nursing workforce equipped to meet the evolving healthcare needs of Montana’s communities.

Through this collaboration, Benefis and Touro are investing together in the education and development of future nurses while creating stronger connections between nursing education, clinical practice, and Montana’s healthcare workforce.

Benefis Health System Offers Scholarships and Tuition Reimbursement
At Benefis Health System, nursing students like you will find a supportive environment where you’re encouraged to learn and advance. Tuition reimbursement, scholarships, mentorship, and more are part of our commitment to the next generation of nurses.
Through our tuition reimbursement program, Benefis employees can receive up to $5,250 per year toward continuing education once they’ve been employed for six months. It’s a great way to move up the career ladder as you continue your education. You can email HR@Benefis.org for specifics of the program.
Benefis Foundation’s Healthcare Scholarship Program is another avenue of support for nursing students in Great Falls and the region, as well as others working toward careers in healthcare. To be eligible, students must be full-time (nine or more credits) and have a GPA of 2.75 or higher. Applications and more information are online at Benefis.org/Scholarships. The application period is from April 1 to June 15 annually.
Thanks to the generosity of many donors, Benefis Foundation has awarded more than $2.1 million in scholarships to students pursuing a degree, certification, or advancement in a medically related field since the program began in 1998.
