ARC-PA Standard A3.14f

Students are expected to maintain all academic and professional program requirements. Decisions about a student’s dismissal from the program is based on a review of the student’s overall performance in the program. Dismissal may occur if any of the following program requirements or policies are not upheld:

  • Semester GPA 2.33
  • Cumulative GPA 2.667
  • Failure of any course or course components (and make-up if available) in the lock-step curriculum
  • Unsuccessful remediation
  • Continued unexcused absences
  • Failure of deceleration requirements
  • Unprofessional or unethical behavior
  • Academic Integrity violation
  • Failure of summative evaluation

If dismissal occurs as determined by the Academic Progress Committee (APC), the student receives a letter with procedural instruction. Dismissal may be appealed in accordance with the appeals policy described in policies and procedures for student appeals
